Our DJ lessons are designed for kids aged 7-17 who love music and want to learn how to mix, beatmatch, and create their own sound. No prior musical experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

Whether your child is a complete beginner or already experimenting with music, our lessons provide a fun, hands-on, and engaging experience that helps build confidence, creativity, and technical skills. Perfect for kids who enjoy music, technology, and trying something new!

No musical experience is needed! Our DJ lessons are designed for complete beginners as well as kids who already have a passion for music. We start with the basics and build up skills step by step, making it fun and easy to learn.

All your child needs is enthusiasm and an interest in music — we’ll take care of the rest!

Our DJ lessons take place in-school weekly in after school clubs. Each session lasts 1 hour and runs throughout the term, giving kids plenty of time to develop their skills.

We currently offer lessons at Cleves School in Weybridge, and we're expanding to more locations soon! If your child’s school isn’t on the list, let us know—we’d love to bring Mix Stars to more schools.

Signing up is easy! All bookings for after school group lessons are accepted through our booking page here.

Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early to secure a spot. Waitlists are available so please add your name to any suitable slots.

Lesson costs can vary by school and session length, but we aim to keep them affordable and accessible and typically are £10-£15 per hourly lesson.

In our DJ lessons, kids will learn the fundamentals of DJing in a fun and engaging way. They’ll get hands-on experience with real DJ equipment and develop skills such as:
